Repair Services
Carr Tool offers both resharpen and retip/rehead services for both our tools and for tools made by other manufactures. These procedures extend the usable life of the tool, preserve its cutting integrity, and save our customers the time and expense of ordering new tools.
Our resharpen process returns the tool to its original blueprint specifications by removing all wear on the cutting edges and resharpening.
Our retip process removes all existing carbide from the tool and replaces them with new carbide which is then ground and sharpened returning the tool to its original condition.

All reconditioned tools are in-process and final inspected, and held to the same stringent quality standards as our new tools.
We understand that you need your tools back in your shop as quickly as possible, and we strive to accommodate your schedule.
Upon receipt at Carr Tool, the tools are pre-inspected to make sure they are good candidates for reconditioning. Tools that cannot be reconditioned are returned to the customer or scrapped out according to their preference.
Once the initial analysis is complete, the customer is notified of the results and the appropriate costs for repair. Upon acceptance of the quoted repair costs, the order is entered into our shop software and proceeds through the required workstations in our shop.
